Joseph Pickard is the Chief Economist and Director of Commodities at Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. Since October 2010. Previously, Joseph worked as an Economist at the International Copper Study Group from September 2006 to October 2010, as a Research Analyst at Slayton & Associates from April 2004 to August 2006, and in various roles at The Pew Charitable Trusts and The Urban Institute. Joseph holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Loyola University Maryland.
