Michael Vanderpool

Michael Vanderpool, CISA, is an experienced IT audit professional with a diverse background in information technology and cyber security. Currently serving as Vice President of IT Audit at Institutional Shareholder Services since 2025, Michael manages the IT audit process and oversees comprehensive reviews of information technology operations. Previous roles include IT Audit Manager at Vesuvius and Pure Storage, and Director of Information and Cyber Security at Standard Chartered Bank, where Michael led teams in executing cybersecurity controls testing frameworks. Michael also held positions at Oracle as IT Compliance Manager and at UBS as IT Risk Analyst, gaining extensive expertise in compliance, risk assessments, and internal audits. Education was completed at Indiana University Bloomington.
