Chris Tomsett

Chris Tomsett is a seasoned professional in learning and development, currently serving as the Global People & Culture Lead at ISS A/S since May 2023. Previously, Chris held the position of Head of Learning and Development at JKS Restaurants from March 2020 to May 2023, where a comprehensive L&D function was established amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. Chris has extensive experience in setting up L&D functions, exemplified by roles at The Standard Hotels and The Ned, where responsibilities included organizing staff inductions and creating training programs. Chris started the career in learning and development at Soho House & Co, evolving from an assistant to a manager responsible for delivering induction training and overseeing L&D initiatives across global sites. Early career experience includes roles in administrative and customer service capacities at ACCA and John Lewis. Chris holds a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow and a Certificate in Learning & Development Practice from Selhurst Consulting.
