Markus Kraenzel

Markus Kraenzel is an experienced IT professional with a significant background in organizational transformation and governance. Currently serving as the Head of IT Organisation Transformation & Governance at ISS A/S since November 2021, Markus previously held various leadership positions at DB Schenker from August 2002 to November 2021, including Head of Global IT Strategy & Governance and Head of Global IT Organization, Processes & Tools. Markus holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and has enhanced expertise through additional certifications in digital transformation from ESMT Berlin and systemic coaching from isb GmbH. Educational credentials also include executive education in strategy, leadership, and international negotiations from Columbia Business School, as well as a Diplom (BA) in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).
