Since 2005, the word [istandard] has become synonymous with the world of music creation, and it’s easy to see why.

Its founders’ vision was to create a platform in which the music producer and songwriter could step out from behind the boards and display their talents to an audience conducive to enhancing their career. In essence, we wanted to unlock the industry doors and let more people in.

We invited Grammy Award-winning producers, multi-platinum engineers, hit songwriters, artists, executives, etc to come to give advice and feedback to unknown beat makers hoping to gain access to the industry and the craziest thing is, it started working.

Knowledge is power. We have partnered with some of the greatest minds and institutions in music over the past decade to provide creatives with knowledge. From feedback at events to our first music conference with Sha Money and G-Unit in 2007, [istandard] has been committed to bringing you the information you need to succeed.

We’ve partnered with ASCAP, A3C Conference and Festival, SXSW, SAE Institute, Mediatech, Institute of Audio Research and more. We even started the Beat Camp program and made the Business of Music Production Workshop a key component of who we are. We love to see people succeed and constantly educating yourself on all disciplines involved is the first step to getting where you want to go.
