Innovative Surface Technologies (ISurTec) develops and provides surface transformation technologies engineered to solve difficult challenges in the biotech and medical device fields.   Founded in 2004, we first released a high-performance lubricious hydrophilic coating designed for medical devices.  This technology is used worldwide by many of the major medical devices companies in the field today under the ISurGlide and Lubricent brand names.  We continue to develop innovative coatings to highlight other surface properties.  We’re currently developing next generation hydrophilic coatings that lower provider’s coating costs, improve lubricity, and lower particulate while also developing surfaces that resist protein adhesion for use in biotech/biopharm R&D.
