Software Engineer at ISYS Technologies

Christopher Santos has worked as a Software Engineer at ISYS Technologies since June 2021. In this role, they have been responsible for implementing solutions to satellite communication to reduce latency and working with local and remote customers to develop action items towards improvements.

Prior to that, Christopher worked as a Software Engineer at Peraton from September 2020 to June 2021. During their time there, they developed modeling simulations for satellite ground terminals, performed network troubleshooting using Bash scripting, and collaborated on a small team to develop software for telemetry, command, and control.

Before joining Peraton, Christopher worked as a Software Analyst at IGNITE from September 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they collaborated with a team to further develop war game simulations, maintained and refactored the code base to reduce simulation lag with customers, and manipulated the database based on new development in war game research.

Christopher's work experience also includes a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant II at the Center for Transportation Infrastructure Systems from November 2018 to May 2019.

Christopher Santos completed an Associate's degree in General Studies at El Paso Community College from 2012 to 2014. Christopher then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at El Paso, which they obtained from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, Christopher Santos obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in February 2022.
