David Runyon

David Runyon has extensive work experience in the field of database administration. David began their career as a Database Administrator 1 at NCI, Inc. in 2011 and held this role until April 2015. From April 2015 to June 2015, they worked as an Oracle APEX Developer and Oracle DBA for TEKsystems, where they successfully repaired and upgraded Oracle APEX. David then joined Enhanced Veterans Solutions, Inc. (EVS) in June 2015 as a Mid-Level Database Administrator and later took on the role of Senior Database Administrator from April 2021 to August 2022. Currently, they are working as a Cloud Ops Support Engineer at ISYS Technologies starting from August 2022.

David Runyon began their education at Mascoutah Community High School, where they earned their high school diploma from 2002 to 2006. David then attended Southwestern Illinois College from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued an Associate's degree in Applied Science with a focus on Computer Information Systems. During this time, they also obtained a Network Associate certification from Southwestern Illinois College in May 2006 and a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in August 2011. Later, from 2006 to 2014, David returned to Southwestern Illinois College and earned another Associate's degree in Applied Science, this time in Database Development/Management.

In addition to their degrees, David Runyon has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In June 2018, they became an Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate from Oracle. David also achieved the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT in October 2017.
