Co-Founders Shoareged Phillpotts & Aishia Manley-Phillpotts grew up in a Caribbean household rooted in selflessness, where giving without rest and showing up for others was second nature—embodying the very essence of "It Takes a Village."

Over time, they identified a crucial gap: holistic wellness. Historically resilient women, who have been the foundation of their communities, are often overlooked in health and wellness spaces. In 2019, they established ITAVcollab, a community-focused wellness hub aimed at enhancing the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of women, including those involved in the justice system. Through culturally informed wellness programs, ITAVcollab empowers women and their communities to heal, prioritize self-care, and unlock their fullest potential.

With a mission to move beyond surface-level self-care, their approach focuses on awareness, acceptance, and sustainable change.
