Leigh Smith

Leigh Smith has a strong background in project management and engineering. They started their career in 1992 as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Industrial Turnaround Corp. where they were responsible for developing project scopes, budgets, and plans. In 2008, Leigh joined Woodfuel Developers, LLC as the Chief Technical Officer, where they focused on identifying and developing business opportunities in the renewable fuels market. They were responsible for choosing technologies, developing mass balances, and estimating capital costs. In 2013, Leigh joined ITAC as a Senior Project Manager and later became a Project Director. They have experience managing projects in various industries and have a particular interest in overseeing projects from conceptual scoping through construction and start-up.

Leigh Smith attended Clemson University from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
