Danielle Stein

Danielle Stein is an independent evaluation, monitoring, and learning expert specializing in social impact, with over 15 years of experience across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Currently serving as a Senior Impact Adviser at The Outcome Gap, they lead the development of theories of change and results measurement frameworks for global initiatives. Danielle co-founded Empatika, an Indonesia-based research consultancy, focusing on people-centered research approaches, and has managed multi-million-pound contracts while engaging with various stakeholders across government, NGOs, and the private sector. Their extensive academic background includes an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
