iTalk was set up Darren Barden to help businesses achieve sustainable success via creating and maintaining mentally healthy, psychologically safe workplaces where people thrive as part of a supportive work community.

Increasingly, businesses are wanting to tackle the problems caused by poor mental health and gain the benefits from investing in positive mental health and psychological safety - better recruitment and retention, attendance levels, performance, productivity, etc.

And key sectors like Construction are increasingly wanting to take steps to tackle the problem of high suicide rates, especially given the fact that Construction workers are 10 times more likely to die by suicide than a physical injury or accident at work.

iTalk works with organisations that want to make a long-term commitment to a mentally healthy, psychologically safe workplace; and be part of the solution for reducing suicide rates.

We are a business partner you can trust to guide you and support you on your own journey, including helping you navigate around the mental health and suicide prevention landscape, which is getting more crowded every year.

We have a small core team and large professional network to be able to flexibly provide you with the precise support and services you need - from support with strategy development and action plans to talks and training, implementation of appropriate BS/ISO Standards, signposting workers to support, review and evaluation.
