Nir Waiskopf

Nir Waiskopf serves as the VP of R&D at Itay&Beyond, a Pharma and Biotech company innovating a platform that uses brain organoids and AI to evaluate drug efficacy for neurological and psychiatric disorders since October 2021. Prior to this role, Nir Waiskopf worked at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2011 to October 2021, managing R&D for nano-materials across biomedical and environmental applications, leading a team, and filing patents. Teaching responsibilities included serving as a teaching assistant for general and physical chemistry. Nir Waiskopf has delivered numerous oral presentations at various conferences, showcasing expertise in chemistry and nanotechnology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry and a certificate in Directors' course, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and The Open University of Israel, respectively.
