Carlos Ollier has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in well log analysis. Carlos co-founded Petrollier in 2014, a consulting services company specializing in well log analysis for oil and gas exploration. Carlos provided services to over 20 key Oil&Gas operators and has comprehensive experience in different basins across Latin America, North Africa, and Saudi Arabia. Prior to Petrollier, Carlos worked as an instructor at NExT Schlumberger starting in 2004. Carlos also served as an associate professor at ITBA from 2003 and onwards. Carlos began their career as a log analysis consultant, providing analysis, interpretation, teaching, and mentoring services for oil and gas well logs. Carlos taught at ITBA Institute in Buenos Aires and served as an instructor for NExT. Before that, Carlos worked at Schlumberger in various roles, including new technologies coordinator in well logging, logs data processing center coordinator, coordinator and technical support for client data processing centers, data processing manager and interpretation support, log analyst, wireline operating base manager, and logging field engineer. Their work at Schlumberger spanned from 1966 to 1998.
From 1959 to 1965, Carlos Ollier attended the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires where they pursued a degree in Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on Electronic studies.
