Javier Valladares

Javier Valladares is currently the Board Secretary at ITBA. Javier has a long and varied history working with different organizations, most notably as the Chairman of Intergubernamental Oceanographic Commission, an organization with functional autonomy within UNESCO. Before that, they were employed by Armada Argentina and Servicio de Hidrografía Naval, where they rose to the position of Jefe. Valladares has been working in the field for over 50 years and their experience has made him an invaluable asset to any organization.

Javier Valladares completed their licenciado in oceanography at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires. Prior to that, they completed their educación secundaria at Colegio Champagnat BsAs.
