Lovisa Ringstad is the Head of CMC and CMC Regulatory Affairs at ITB-MED, where they serve as Global CMC Regulatory Affairs, Associate Director since 2023. They previously held senior roles as Head of CMC and Senior Scientist at ILYA Pharma from 2018 to 2023, and as Project Manager in several organizations, including SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden and Ponsus Pharma AB. Lovisa earned a PhD in Pharmaceutical Physical Chemistry and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Uppsala University, where they conducted research as a PhD student and researcher. Additionally, they served on the board of Nordic BioAnalysis AB from 2021 to 2023.
