S Sivakumar

S Sivakumar is the Vice Chairman & Non-Executive Director of ITC Infotech India Limited, and its subsidiaries in the UK and the USA. He is also the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of ITC Infotech India Limited.

Sivakumar oversees Agri and IT Businesses of ITC Limited (ITC) and is a Member of its Corporate Management Committee. He also holds responsibility for ITC’s Social Investments Programme. Additionally, he is the Chairman of Technico Agri Sciences Limited.

Topper of the Class of 1983 from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Sivakumar served a farmers’ cooperative for six years before joining ITC in 1989. He conceptualized the path-breaking ITC e-Choupal model and is spearheading its roll out across rural India.

Sivakumar has served as the Chairman of the National Agricultural Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry, and served as the Vice Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Social Innovation and UN Global Compact’s Core Advisory Group to develop Sustainable Agriculture Business Principles.

Sivakumar was also on the Boards of India’s National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and IRMA.
