Harekrishna Mishra

Harekrishna Mishra has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Harekrishna started their career as a Summer Intern at Sheladia Associates Inc. in 2005. In 2006, they joined Jindal Stainless as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and later became an Associate Manager in charge of civil, structural, and architectural projects. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Aditya Birla Group as a Deputy Manager, overseeing construction activities and providing technical inputs for various projects. In 2011, they joined ITC Limited as an Internal Auditor for Capital Projects, where they successfully managed value engineering, quality management, and contract management. Harekrishna then advanced to the role of Senior Internal Auditor and later Assistant Project Manager, handling multiple projects. In 2021, they were appointed as the Divisional Sustainability Lead, responsible for driving the sustainability roadmap and strategy for the Central Projects Organisation at ITC Limited. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Contracts & Purchase at ITC Limited.

Harekrishna obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law & Policy from the National Law University, Delhi from 2021 to 2022. In the same period, they also completed the ITC Business Leadership Programme 2021-2022 from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, specializing in Organizational Leadership, Strategy, and Finance.

In 2006, Harekrishna Mishra received a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Odisha University of Technology and Research.

In 2016, they became a Chartered Engineer [C.Eng.(I)], MIE (M-1555752) in Civil Engineering from the Institution of Engineers of India (IEI), Kolkata.

Harekrishna Mishra earned a CII-Certified Professional in Life Cycle Assessment degree in Climate Impact of Products/Process from the Confederation of Indian Industry in 2021.

Harekrishna also completed additional certifications, including "Understand Gita in 18 days" from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 2020, and "Effective Decision Making: Dealing with business Complexity" from TU Delft | Technology, Policy, and Management in the same year.
