Shubhankar Mitra is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development across various industries. Currently serving as the Business Head for Bulk Staples at ITC Limited since February 2022, Shubhankar focuses on expanding business initiatives in eight cities in India and creating sustainable growth models. Prior to this, Shubhankar was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ganga Roller Flour Mills Pvt Ltd, where efforts led to the brand becoming one of the top three flour milling brands in North India. As a co-founder of Protagon Biotech Private Limited, Shubhankar successfully positioned the company among the top players in the grain processing industrial enzymes sector in India. Shubhankar's career also includes notable roles at Novozymes South Asia Pvt. Ltd., Cargill, Tube Investments of India Limited, and DSM, with a proven track record of enhancing market share and profitability in challenging environments. Shubhankar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from North Maharashtra University.
