Yashwanth Radhakrishnan

Yashwanth Radhakrishnan is a Principal Scientist at ITC Limited since 2011, where responsibilities include leading the Health & Wellness platform and creating a Sensory Sciences platform. Previously held positions include Senior Lead Scientist, Lead Scientist at LSTC, Research Scientist, and Associate Scientist, with a focus on developing functional food products for metabolic diseases, managing external collaborations on ingredient screening, and initiating epigenetic platforms for various projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2002 to 2010, investigating hyperglycemia effects on smooth muscle cell signal transduction, and at the Indian Institute of Science from 2000 to 2002, identifying biomarkers for steroidogenesis and assisting graduate students. Yashwanth holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Madras and completed further education at the University of California, Davis in 2020.
