Nuria Herranz has extensive experience in technological consulting and innovation, having served as the Gerente del Área Tecnológica de Consultoría e Innovación at ITENE from February 2004 to December 2019. In this role, Nuria was responsible for technological lines including Intelligent Packaging, SIA, and Functional and Intelligent Surfaces, as well as leading projects in the Packaging and Packaging Area. Additionally, Nuria has been an External Expert at the European Commission's Research Executive Agency since April 2015. Earlier in the career, Nuria worked as Técnico de Proyectos at FEDEMCO from March 2002 to September 2002. Educationally, Nuria completed the Programa de Desarrollo Directivo at IESE Business School between January 2020 and December 2021, and holds a Suficiencia Investigadora from Universitat Politècnica de València, focusing on Intelligent Packaging for cold chain control.
