Lead Software Engineer at Itential

Ahmed A. began their work experience in 2012 as a GSA Intern at Google. In this role, they promoted Google services and APIs and built partnerships with Al-Ahliyya Amman University. Ahmed then moved on to the Critical Languages Center in 2013, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During this time, they developed software to automate tracking students' performance and attendance, designed and deployed the department's official website, and managed the migration to Google services. In 2014, Ahmed joined The University of Alabama as a Software Engineering Researcher, where they designed requirements documents, implemented software, and tested tools and APIs for systematic literature reviews. Currently, Ahmed is working at Itential as a Lead Software Engineer, a role they have held since August 2019.

Ahmed A. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Software Engineering from Al-Ahliyya Amman University in the years 2009 to 2013. Ahmed then pursued higher education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama from 2013 to 2017.
