James Zacks is currently a Neutral Beam Test Facility Scientist at the ITER Organization, working within the Beam Technology group at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy in Oxfordshire. In this role, James focuses on neutral beam heating systems for the JET fusion experiment and manages the Small Negative Ion Facility. Prior to this, James served as a Neutral Beam Physicist at CCFE from 2008 to 2020 and worked as a Porter at St Peter's College, Oxford in 2008. James earned a PhD in Plasma Physics from Queen's University Belfast, having previously completed an MPhys at the University of Oxford.
