Andrés M.

Andrés M. has a diverse range of work experience in the IT industry. Andrés started their career in 2008 at ECIMES LTDA, where they led projects in automation, domotics, and security systems. Andrés then worked at Telmex Colombia as part of the security services data center team, where they managed servers and services for special and shared clients.

In 2010, they joined Colnodo as a Sysadmin, where they were responsible for the administration of GNU/Linux servers, including mail servers, DNS servers, and web application servers. Andrés also worked as an administrator for 130 Linux servers at AECSA, focusing on servers based on CentOS, OpenSuse, Debian, and Ubuntu.

Andrés joined HIT TECHNOLOGIES in 2014 as a support engineer for Linux and Networking. In this role, they provided support for network monitoring servers, user authorization and authentication for Cisco devices, networking support, and server administration for the expansion network of the El Dorado airport.

In 2021, they joined Itera Process Consulting e IT Institute as an AWS Solutions Architect, designing and implementing cloud solutions. Andrés then moved on to A Toda Hora S.A, where they served as a Cloud Architect, leading the construction of comprehensive solutions to complex problems and building solution architectures for high-complexity projects.

Currently, Andrés works at Itera Process Consulting e IT Institute as a Cloud Solutions Architect Sr. in a position that started in May 2022.

Andrés M. holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Santo Tomás. Andrés also completed a specialization in Information Security from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, with a focus on Information Security. Additionally, they have obtained the MTCNA certification from Mikrotik.
