Interaction Designer at Itera

Bendik Kroken started their work experience in 2016 as a Cemetery Worker for Bærum Municipality. In 2016, they also served as the Vice President/Treasurer for the Association of Norwegian Students Abroad - Montreal Chapter. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at McGill University - Faculty of Arts and as Customer Service at the Munch Museum. In 2017, they worked as a Customer Service Representative/Receptionist/Barista for Gyldendal Norsk Forlag and as a Customer Service Representative for Ebok.no. In 2019, they worked as a Teacher for Oslo kommune - Sommerskolen. In 2020, they were a Summer intern - UX-designer at Itera - MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Since 2021, they have been working as an Interaction Designer at Itera. Additionally, they had various roles as a Gruppelærer (TA) and Plenumslærer at Universitetet i Oslo from 2018 to 2021. Bendik also worked as a Student Recruiter in Informativ (Institutt for informatikk) from 2018 to 2019.

Bendik Kroken obtained a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Psychology from McGill University in 2013-2016. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Informatikk - Bruk, interaksjon, design at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2017-2019. Recently, they completed a Master's degree in Informatikk: Design, bruk og interaksjon from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 2019-2021.
