Daniel August Jensen

Lead Functional Architect at Itera

Daniel August Jensen has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 with the Norwegian Armed Forces, where they served as a Private and was responsible for driving and operating mobile nodes for the Army's digital communication network.

In 2008, Jensen joined Kongsberg Maritime as a Systems Engineer. Here, they worked as a test manager for the K-Master product and was responsible for planning and organizing system test activities, writing and executing test specifications, maintaining and updating the test system, verifying new functionality, and reporting test status to management. Daniel August also participated in the concept and system design phase of a development project.

In 2015, Jensen took on the role of Owner & Manager at Kåre João Café & Bar for two years before joining Itera in 2017 as a Lead Functional Architect.

Daniel August Jensen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway from 2005 to 2008. Daniel August then pursued a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they attended Tromsdalen Videregående Skole from 2001 to 2004.

Daniel also has various certifications, including "Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design" from LinkedIn in January 2022, "The Open Group Certified: ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner" from The Open Group in November 2020, "The Open Group Certified: ArchiMate® 3 Foundation" from The Open Group in October 2020, "Python for Everybody, a 5-course specialization" by University of Michigan from Coursera in June 2018, and "ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level" from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in May 2012.
