Espen Berglund

Chief Architect at Itera

Espen Berglund has a strong background in the technology industry, with diverse experiences in different roles and companies. Espen began their career as a Software Development Engineer at Agresso R&D in 2004 and spent four years there. In 2008, they moved on to Acando, where they worked as a Consultant for two years. Espen then joined Itera - MAKE A DIFFERENCE in 2010, starting as a Senior Consultant and later being promoted to Lead Architect. In 2017, they were promoted once again, this time to the position of Chief Architect, where they continue to make valuable contributions to the company.

Espen Berglund began their education journey by attending Ramstad Ungdomsskole from 1992 to 1995. Espen then went on to study at Valler VGS from 1995 to 1998, though the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Espen continued their education at The Norwegian School of Information Technology from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science with a focus on Computer Engineering.

After completing their Bachelor's degree, Espen pursued further education and attended Bond University from 2002 to 2003. Here, they earned a Master's degree in IT.

In addition to their formal education, Espen Berglund has obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft. In 2010 and 2011, they achieved several MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) certifications in areas such as .NET Framework 4, Service Communication Applications, Data Access, and Windows Applications. In 2011, they also obtained the MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) certification for Windows Developer 4. Most recently, in 2012, they acquired the MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification from Microsoft.
