Lead Information Technology Support Specialist at Itera

Eugene Shtan has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Eugene started their career in 2007 as a Field Service Engineer at Philips Medical Systems, where they were responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of patient monitoring and cardiac care systems. Eugene also worked on the installation and maintenance of ultrasound diagnostic systems.

In 2013, Eugene joined Roche as a Senior IT Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for IT operations in the Ukrainian affiliate of the company. Eugene provided support to local and remote users, managed IT infrastructure, handled employee onboarding and support, managed hardware and software inventory, and collaborated with global IT teams for incident resolution and change management. Eugene also played a role in supplier and contract management, as well as access management.

After working at Roche for five years, Eugene joined Össur in 2018 as an L2 Information Technology Support Specialist. Eugene'sresponsibilities in this role included providing IT support and handling incidents and requests.

Later in 2018, Eugene joined Itera - MAKE A DIFFERENCE as a Lead Information Technology Support Specialist. In this role, they led a team of outsourced IT support specialists and administrators, providing remote support to customers' users. Eugene handled incidents and service requests related to various areas, including Active Directory, Windows servers and workstations, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and CAD software, among others.

Throughout their career, Eugene has demonstrated expertise in IT support, infrastructure management, supplier and contract management, access management, and training and adoption services for end-users.

Eugene Shtan obtained their Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 2002 to 2008. In addition to their academic degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Eugene earned the ITIL Foundation Level certification from EXIN your ICT competence partner in March 2017. Eugene also achieved the English Language - C1 Advanced certification from British Study Centres in February 2019. Moving forward, they acquired various Microsoft certifications including Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate and Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert in March 2020. In November 2019, they obtained the MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity & Services certification and MS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security certification in December 2019. Furthermore, Eugene obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance in October 2021. Lastly, they received three Microsoft certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate in February 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate in May 2022, and Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate in March 2023.
