Rastislav Pánis

Rastislav Pánis has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Rastislav is currently a Software Engineer at Itera - MAKE A DIFFERENCE since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Cleverlance from 2015 to 2020, starting as a Software Developer at IBM Slovakia and later transitioning to a role at Cleverlance. During their time at Cleverlance, they were involved in various projects, such as developing an internal back-end Spring Boot application for IBM Slovakia and working on CRM development for Slovenská sporiteľňa, a.s. Rastislav also worked at FINAMIS, s.r.o. as an SW developer in 2015 and at R7 CORP s.r.o. as a Head Software Developer in Quantitative finance in 2014. Before entering the software development field, they worked as a Python developer and Linux admin at L. Štúr Institute of Linguistics, Slovak Academy of Sciences from 2011 to 2014, and as an IT technicist and SW developer at Comenius University, Faculty of Philosophy in 2010.

Rastislav Pánis has a diverse education history. Rastislav began their educational journey in 2003 and completed their high school education at the Catholic Gymnasium of Stefan Moyses in 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Informatics at Comenius University, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics. In parallel, they also attended a leadership course from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a certificate in various fields including management, psychology, pedagogy, didactics, ethics, and theology. Building on their bachelor's degree, they further pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Informatics from 2012 to 2014 at the same institution.
