Sigurd Flaatten

Sigurd Flaatten has over 15 years of work experience in the IT industry. Sigurd currently holds the position of Chief Product Owner at Itera, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Aztek as the Head of Cloud Strategy and Transformation from August 2021 to September 2022.

Sigurd has a strong background in Microsoft technologies. Sigurd spent several years at Microsoft, where they held the role of Solution Architect from March 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for selling and delivering architectural solutions and driving transformational results for Microsoft Services. Sigurd also served as a Senior Premier Field Engineer from October 2013 to March 2020, providing technical and operational advice to Microsoft corporate customers.

Before joining Microsoft, Sigurd worked at Norsk pasientskadeerstatning as a Systems Manager, managing all IT systems related to the organization from March 2013 to October 2013. Sigurd also has experience as an IT Consultant at EVRY, where they were responsible for 3rd line support and operations of Windows Servers and clients from March 2012 to March 2013. Prior to that, they worked at EDB Business Partner as an IT Consultant, providing client and server support for various clients, including Telenor and Storebrand, from October 2005 to March 2012.

Sigurd Flaatten completed a 3-year studies program in Information Technology at Oslo and Akershus University College from 2001 to 2005. In terms of certifications, Sigurd obtained the following:
