Vasu Kohli

Vasu Kohli is the CISO at Iterable. Prior to joining Iterable, Vasu served as a Strategic Advisor/Consultant at GeNex Technology Solutions from February 2020 to August 2020. Before that, Vasu was the Sr. Director, Information Security and GRC Leader at Palo Alto Networks from April 2016 to January 2020.

Previously, Vasu was the Sr. Director, Global SaaS Security and GRC at CA Technologies from September 2013 to April 2016. In this role, they were responsible for heading up Information Security Governance and Risk Management, Application Security Management, and Global Design and Operationalization of Unified Security Control Framework.

Before CA Technologies, Vasu was a Senior Architect/Consultant on the Security Practice team at Taos from September 2012 to September 2013. Prior to Taos, Vasu worked as the Senior Program Architect and Management Consultant in the Office of the CIO at Hitachi Data Systems from January 2012 to December 2013.

Vasu began their career in risk management, first as the Principal Consultant and Practice Manager of Risk Management at AsTech Consulting from January 2009 to December 2012 and then as a Senior Risk Management Consultant at Wells Fargo from January 2009 to December 2011. Vasu finished their time in risk management as the Manager of Technology Risk Management Services at RSM McGladrey Inc. from January 2004 to December 2009.

Vasu Kohli has a B.A. in Mathematics from San Jose State University and is certified in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2.
