Dan Spalding

Dan Spalding has had a diverse professional career in the field of software development and consulting. Dan started their own software development company, Spalding Computer, in 1996, where they worked as the owner and provided full-service software development solutions for small to medium-sized businesses. In 2004, they took on the role of an Adjunct Professor at Peirce College.

Over the years, Dan has held various consulting roles, including working as a Consultant/Architect for the Indianapolis Airport Authority in 2013, where they built a framework for the conversion from Microsoft Access to WPF. Dan also worked as a Consultant at PJM Interconnection in 2011, where they integrated SharePoint with ASP.NET and created a data persistence framework.

Dan has also worked for notable companies such as Vertex Inc., where they served as a Senior Application Architect from 2014 to 2020, and Areva, where they worked as a Trainer-.NET Architect from 2008 to 2011, developing custom .NET training for developers.

In more recent years, Dan joined Iteris, Inc. in 2020 as a Lead Software Engineer and ECRI Institute in 2013 as a Consultant, where they were responsible for requirements gathering and developing new procurement systems.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated expertise in software development, web-based solutions, data persistence, and system integration.

Dan Spalding obtained their High School Diploma from Emmaus High School. Dan then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, completing their degree between 1988 and 1991. Afterwards, they attended Drexel University from 1993 to 1995, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS).
