Michael Whiting

Michael Whiting has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Michael began their career at Ferguson Ltd in 1984 as a Test Engineer and worked there until 1990. Afterwards, they joined RF Electronic Controls Ltd as a Design Engineer and remained with the company until 1994. Michael then worked as the European Engineering Manager at Knight Europe Ltd from 1994 to 1999. At Knight LLC, they served as the VP of Engineering from 1999 to 2006. Most recently, they have been associated with Iteris, Inc, starting as a Project Manager in 2007 and progressing to the role of Director of Engineering, Roadway Sensors in 2012. Michael was later promoted to Senior Director Of Engineering in 2018 and currently holds the position of VP, Engineering, starting from April 2021.

Michael Whiting has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Southgate Technical College, which they obtained between 1984 and 1988. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications over the years. Michael became a Certified Scrum Master and a Certified Scrum Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance in April 2016. In August 2012, they obtained the Pragmatic Marketing certification from Pragmatic Marketing. Finally, in June 2005, they became a Six Sigma Green Belt through Six Sigma Qualtec.
