Gil Ochoa

Gil Ochoa is the Director of the Department of Habitat and Urban Development at ITESO. They have worked as a professor at ITESO since 2004 and coordinated the Civil Engineering program from 2018 to 2024. Prior to their current role, they served as the Design and Geotechnics Coordinator at Ingenieros Civiles Asociados from 2003 to 2004. Gil earned a Doctor of Science in Earth Sciences/Hydrology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. They hold an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente, A.C.
