Michelle Goode, MPH, CHES, is an experienced health promotion professional currently serving as the Program Director for the Center for Health Promotion at Ithaca College since August 2021. Previously, Michelle worked at Syracuse University as a Health Promotion Specialist focused on sexual violence prevention, where numerous initiatives were developed to enhance student health and safety, including the implementation of programming for bystander intervention and alcohol safety. Michelle's background includes roles as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at SUNY Oswego, a Prevention Specialist with the County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism & Addictions Inc., and teaching assignments at Boston University, where a strong emphasis was placed on education in public health and wellness topics. Michelle holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Brockport.
