Ian MacKenzie

Ian MacKenzie is a seasoned technology and innovation leader with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Technology and Innovation Manager at Ithaca Energy since January 2020, Ian is responsible for enhancing company performance through data, technology, and innovation while leading a team of Business Change Agents and Technologists. Ian previously held the role of Head of IT and Digital at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited from March 2018 to January 2020, and prior to that, Ian spent over a decade at Marathon Oil Corporation, where responsibilities included serving as the UK IT Manager. Early career roles included ICT Development Specialist at ENI and Drilling Engineering Construction Team Leader at Paradigm. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Robert Gordon University, earned between 1993 and 1998.
