Scott Nelson is a highly experienced production chemist with over 19 years in the offshore industry. Currently serving as a production technician at Ithaca Energy since November 2019, Scott also holds roles as a shift supervisor at WorleyParsons and a senior operations technician at Amec Foster Wheeler, where responsibilities include carrying out CRO duties on the Dunlin Alpha. Previous experience includes positions with Woodgroup PSN as an operator/chemist, Baker Hughes as a field engineer managing various production operations, and Staffhunt as an ad hoc offshore chemist. Scott holds a diploma in applied chemistry from Edinburgh Napier University, obtained between 1994 and 1996.
