Marvin Griffin, CISSP, has extensive experience in the field of technology and cybersecurity. Starting in 1987 with the US Air Force, they worked as an Electronics Engineer, leading and advising on various IT acquisition programs. In 2000, Marvin joined DISA as the Chief of the Software Deployment Branch, where they managed multiple deployment teams and implemented agile methodologies for enterprise systems. Currently, Marvin is the Chief Technology Officer at ITility, LLC, where they provide strategic oversight and support for planning and execution.
Marvin Griffin, CISSP, has a diverse education history that includes degrees in Electronic Engineering and Mathematics. Marvin began their academic journey at the University of Dayton, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronic Engineering from 1986 to 1987. Following this, they attended Paine College from 1981 to 1985, earning a second Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Mathematics with a focus on Applied Mathematics.
In addition to their undergraduate studies, Marvin Griffin pursued further education in the field of Technology Management. Marvin attended the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2004, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Technology Management.
Marvin Griffin's commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise is also evident in their certifications. Marvin holds the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2. Additionally, they have obtained the DoD Certified Acquisition Professional Level III - Information Technology certification from the Defense Acquisition University.
To further enhance their skills, Marvin Griffin has also completed the AWS Quick Tips for Developers course offered by LinkedIn in September 2019.
