Helder Gomes

Helder Gomes has extensive work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Helder started their career as a Software Engineer and quickly moved up to the position of Senior Software Engineer, where they participated in international implementation projects and led the development of important components for software products. Helder then transitioned to the role of Product Manager, where they managed teams responsible for the design and development of multiple software products. Helder later became a Business Manager, overseeing strategy, design, and positioning for a software product and also leading sales processes with international retailers. In their most recent role as International Managing Director at itim, Helder oversaw multiple departments, acted as a sponsor/account manager for key accounts/projects, and played a crucial role in shaping the company's global strategy. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant for various companies such as Via Varejo SA, The Entertainer, IMAM, Vonpar S/A, and Ferramentas Gerais Com. Ind. S/A.

Helder Gomes has a diverse education history with various certifications and specializations. In 2001, they started their education journey at the Universidade do Minho, where they pursued an Engineer's Degree in Systems and Computers Engineering, completing it in 2006.

In 2007, Helder enrolled in Oracle University and obtained a certification in Oracle DB Programming/Administration. The following year, they furthered their education by specializing in Technological Entrepreneurship at the Universidade do Minho.

In 2009, Helder acquired multiple certifications and specializations. Helder completed a certification in Microsoft SQL Server from GTI Training. Helder also received certifications in Educational Training for Trainers from Nova Etapa and Advanced Buying and Merchandising from the Fashion Retail Academy. Additionally, they pursued a specialization in ENTER – Entrepreneurship Enhancement and Reinforcement from Tecmaia.

Lastly, in 2013, Helder attended Dynargie to gain knowledge in Behavioral Project Management. Throughout their education, Helder has taken various courses and acquired certifications in different fields, showcasing their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
