Athar Abbas

Athar Abbas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2005, they worked at eDev Technologies as an SQA Engineer and later as a Senior SQA Engineer until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Business Analyst at eSoul Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd. Athar then joined PixSense in 2008 as a Software Quality Assurance Lead, where they successfully led projects involving content sharing applications on mobile devices. In 2010, Athar joined VeriPark as an MS Dynamics CRM Consultant, taking on various roles such as Business Analyst, Project Delivery, and Pre-Sales Consultant. At Collinson, Athar worked as a Business Analyst / Project Manager from 2014 to 2015 and later as a Service Delivery Manager from 2015 to 2017. Athar then joined Barhead Solutions in 2018 as a Senior Functional Consultant, specializing in Dynamics 365/Power Platform. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Principal Functional Consultant and continued working in that capacity until 2023. Currently, Athar is the Global Delivery Director at ITKnocks Pty Ltd, where they have been since February 2023.

Athar Abbas obtained an MS in Software Engineering from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed an MCS in Computer Science at Karachi University from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant, MB-200 Microsoft Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Core, and others. Athar is also a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and holds certifications in project management and IT service management.
