Gary Saunders

Gary Saunders has extensive work experience in the fuel cell industry. Gary has held various roles at different companies over the years. Most recently, they worked at ITM Power as the Head of Product Development. Prior to that, they were the Technology Manager at the same company. Before joining ITM Power, Gary was the Chief Fuel Cell Engineer at Adelan Limited. Gary also spent a significant portion of their career at Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems, where they held multiple positions including Director of Engineering & Program, Functional Leader, Work Package Owner, and Senior Test Engineer. Gary started their career at Shell as a Lab Technician.

Gary Saunders earned their PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, where they studied from 1999 to 2002.
