Ben de Pear is a seasoned journalist and filmmaker, currently serving as the Founder of Basement Films UK since May 2022, where productions have reached over six countries and content has been broadcast in more than a dozen territories, garnering notable accolades such as the Peabody Award and the British Journalism Award for Foreign Affairs. Prior to this role, Ben de Pear has extensive experience at ITN, holding several key positions, including Editor of Channel 4 News since July 2012, Head of Foreign News from July 2009 to August 2012, and Foreign Editor of Channel 4 News from January 2009 to January 2011, demonstrating a strong commitment to impactful journalism and storytelling.
