Josh Whitehead

Josh Whitehead is an experienced Producer and Director with a diverse background in documentary filmmaking, particularly in themes addressing social issues and historical events. Currently serving as a Producer/Director at ITN Productions since September 2022, notable projects include a feature documentary on the Big Snow of 1982 and a special on the 1987 Great Storm for Channel 5. Previous roles encompass significant positions as Executive Producer for impactful documentaries on child trafficking and sexual violence in India at Miditech and Storyteller Films, respectively. Whitehead's career also includes various producer and director roles across esteemed production companies such as ITV Studios and National Geographic, showcasing expertise in storytelling through historical and contemporary lenses. A graduate of The University of Manchester with a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Whitehead has cultivated a robust skill set in both content creation and editing.
