Michael Bungo

Michael Bungo is a Professor of Medicine and Professor of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging at UTHealth and member of Memorial Hermann Hospital medical staff. He previously served as the Director of the Space Biomedical Research Institute and Chief Scientist of the Medical Sciences Division at NASA. Dr. Bungo has closely collaborated with iTomography since 2011 as an advisor and Investigator on iTomography’s clinical studies at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. In partnership, Dr. Bungo and Dr. Cohen developed the MHHS Heart and Vascular Institute’s Cardiac CT program in the Texas Medical Center.
