Arka Bala

Arka Bala is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the fields of spatial internet, big data, and augmented reality. As Co-Founder and CTO of iTrek.ai since 2020, Arka leads efforts to develop infrastructure for the Spatial Internet of Everything powered by AI. In addition, Arka serves as a Founding Governing Board Member of Open AR Cloud, which is establishing standards for the spatial web. Past roles include Interim CTO at HealthGrid Alliance, Founder and CEO of ContextGrid and TravAlarm, and Big Data Architect at Expedia. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Enterprise Information Systems from the University of Greenwich and a BCom in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town.
