Gali Beeri

Gali Beeri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gali started their career as a Program Intern at the UNC Center for European Studies in 2003 and later became a Program Coordinator and Director of Outreach Programs. In these roles, they managed various projects, including editing policy briefings, promoting education programs, and securing grants. Gali also worked as a Knitting Teacher at the Hillsborough Yarn Shop from 2007 to 2011. Gali then joined The Creative Center at University Settlement as a Program Coordinator, where they coordinated creative arts workshops and taught classes in knitting and embroidery. Gali continued their administrative career at Lion Brand Yarn Company, serving as an Executive Assistant to the President/CEO for seven years. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Office Manager at itrek, starting in 2022.

Gali Beeri obtained their Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the same institution from 2000 to 2004. Gali earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on International Studies, Political Science, and Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Gali Beeri also obtained an Executive Assistant Masterclass Certificate from Smart Events International in April 2021.
