Alcide Mercier

Alcide Mercier is currently an R&D senior mechanical designer at Itron, Inc., where they lead the mechanical design of meters and calculators. They returned to R&D to leverage their creativity and experience in industrialization. Alcide previously served as a mechanical designer at Itron from 1999 to 2013 and held the role of methods technician at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics from 1997 to 1999. They also worked as an entrepreneur from 2010 to 2018, focusing on design studies and 3D modeling. Alcide received a DU in Design & Packaging, Industrial and Product Design from Lycée Leonard de Vinci.
