Carl Wainer

Carl Wainer is an experienced professional currently serving as the EMEA & APAC Senior Strategic Alliances Manager at Itron since September 2008, where management of global alliance relationships with major companies such as SAP, Accenture, and Microsoft is a key responsibility. Previously, Carl held various roles including EMEA Smart Grid Alliances Manager and International Bid Office & Market Intelligence Manager at Itron, as well as Contracts Manager at iO Global, and Business Development & Commercial roles at E.ON. Carl began a career at Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in business analysis and customer relationship management. Carl earned a B.Sc. in Geography with Social Policy from the University of Surrey between 1991 and 1994.
