David S. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in demand forecasting and statistical modeling, currently serving as a Sr. Forecast Consultant at Itron, Inc. since June 2013. In this role, David leads the implementation and support of advanced forecasting systems for electricity and natural gas demand, utilizing sophisticated statistical models and machine learning solutions to enhance energy planning and operations for utilities and grid operators worldwide. Prior to this, David held various positions, including Sr. Forecast Analyst and Forecast Analyst, and served as a Lecturer and Graduate Assistant at San Diego State University. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University.
