Gyula Mayer

Gyula Mayer, CISA, is currently serving as the Information Security and Compliance Officer at Itron, Inc., a position they have held since 2017. With a robust career in IT and security, Gyula has previously worked as a Senior IT Security Consultant at QUADRON Cybersecurity Services Ltd. and managed quality, security, and facilities at Getronics/EMEA Remote Services Ltd. They have also held managerial roles in IT at the American Embassy in Budapest and at Budapest Convention Center and Hotel Novotel. Gyula’s earlier experience includes being a Security Manager at ING Bank N.V. Hungary Branch and a Software Developer from 1986 to 1990. They earned a Master of Science in Microelectronics from Kando Kalman College between 1979 and 1982.
